Senior Business Development Manager

Make your mark at Datablue and build your reputation as a leading Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM). In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth selling data quality and productivity solutions to organisations seeking efficiencies through cutting edge technology. The vision of our team is to be world-class and to outperform our competitors maintaining our position as the number one company in Australia for address verification and data entry solutions.

Responsibilities:

* Develop new revenue opportunities by leveraging business networks and outbound business development activities through a range of channels including direct, partners and wholesale, where appropriate.
* Take ownership and drive the sales strategy for individual opportunities within your territory.
* Maintain accurate and up to date pipeline information and account plans/strategies and forecasts.
* Contribute to the continued development of Datablue’s presence and success in the Address Verification marketplace and act as an evangelist for Datablue.

Requirements:

* Solid experience in a business development role with a proven track record of success in selling software solutions.
* Current insight into data quality and the data quality solutions market.
* Exposure to or direct experience with delivery of integrated solutions
* Knowledge of Enterprise Technologies including corporate applications (eg. Peoplesoft, Oracle Financials, SAP) and development environments (eg. Websphere, WebLogic).
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT and or business preferred.
